Ok, here is my question.(Don’t laugh) I am looking to have restylane put in my smile lines, but I heard there is a chance that I can get skin necrosis or go blind. (I am not making this up!) I saw a picture of a lady in a journal article in brazil who lost a good chunk of skin on her face after an artefill treatment (I guess they went in too deep and cut off the blood supply). How far would the doctor have to go to hit an artery or a major vein? Is there a chance this could happen by even a shallow puncture mark?
