These treatments are called fillers, and there are a few types. In this video, I’ll explain the differences and how we use them. Unlike injectable botulinum toxin, injectable fillers don’t paralyze any muscles. Instead, fillers replace or stimulate the development of natural substances that give skin structure or fullness. The deepest layer of skin, called the dermis, has three main components that give it a youthful look. The first is collagen, which gives it it’s structural integrity.
