Acupuncture against headache?
I think to try acupuncture to see if it helps with my migraines … I can not take prescription … I get sick … I have tried many herbs, oils, nasal wash, whatever …. I try to avoid "triggers" … I researched until I am "blue in the face "….. all he found that work is botox …. I had a treatment … significantly reduce the number of headaches and the severity … but not really what I want acupuncture no …. Atleast it would be long-term natural. Thanks for any info.
How does this work? Would you feel an attack coming, and then not an impromptu meeting at any time of day or night? Because Botox is a bacteria, it is natural, probably more natural for multiple needles stuck you. If you are sensitive to the placebo effect, then a session of acupuncture can not really hurt, but not copy or repeated sessions in a "course" treatment. Either the placebo effect works in you or not. Other things you suggest (assuming you've seen that many health professionals as possible, ie real doctors and other non-hokey "naturopath") are: carbon monoxide leak in your house, food, not just the stereotype of "triggers, stress life (especially if you've worked botox), allergies to indoor air pollutants such as air fresheners, incense, cooking gas, mold, etc.
